WordPress DoFollow Plugin List
Do you hate how WordPress automatically adds the NoFollow attribute to Comments and Trackbacks? Or you want more control over which links on your site are DoFollow? Are rhetorical questions an overused method of blog authors?
If your answer is yes, then welcome to my list of DoFollow Plugins For WordPress V1.0 (beta).
I’ll have plugins that will help you make your comments links DoFollow, remove NoFollow from pingback URL’s, bake you a cake and eat it too.

Okay now to start our list off we have;
DOFOLLOW (SemioLogic)
The name leaves much to be desired, but it is straight to the point and, you’ll not in a million years guess what it does.
Yes, so it says on it’s WordPress Plugin page “The dofollow plugin for WordPress lets you remove the evil nofollow attribute from your comments.“. Told you that you’d never guess.
There’s something straight-to-the-point about this Plugin, so I instantly felt obliged to add this straight-to-my-list.

No follow Case by Case
Id just like to point out, I haven’t actually tested these plugins out myself. I normally just change links to NoFollow manually. Just FYI.
Anyhow, I do think this is a very handy looking little tool for your NoFollow’ing needs.
Authors Description:
“Plugin Features:
- Strip nofollow from comment links, pingbacks and trackbacks (default).
- Selectively apply nofollow to any comment link you do not like to support.
- Selectively apply nofollow to any comment author link you do not like to support.
- If you like to open your comment links in a new window you can do that.
As long as you do nothing the plugin automatically strips nofollow from all your comment links and comment author links.“.
Sounds pretty good doesn’t it? Well go on, download it.. then upload it to your site, activate it, then come back. I’ll be waiting..

Ultimate Noindex Nofollow Tool
Notice how the names of each of these plugins gets longer every time?
This plugin here, on paper, appears to be a great little tool for your on-site optimization.It allows you to easily noindex any page you want, but also nofollow any link your heart desires. Pretty cool, eh?
“Add the noindex robots meta tag to archives, categories, search pages, tags, author pages, login, admin pages or any other page you choose.
Add the rel="nofollow" attribute to individual pages listed by the wp_list_pages function or the Pages widget. Also, add the rel="nofollow" attribute to archive links, category links, registration and login links.“.
If you selfishly want to defend your hard-earned PageRank, then this plugin will very likely be your BFF.

Long live dofollow! Here is a comprehensive list of all currently available dofollow plugins for WordPress. I spent a LOT of time researching and creating it, so hopefully it will further your cause here and help your readers get involved with the dofollow movement. Cheers, Jeff
